People can be SO creative. Minnesota mom Amy Penner (who drives a blue VW Thing) wanted to do something special for her son’s high school graduation. Sure, they would have a graduation party with food, family and friends; but what could she do to make it a really memorable day? Her son, Jeshua, is a Volkswagen enthusiast and has a matt-orange ’63 Bug which he drives to shows. So, Amy got a brilliant idea. Why not turn the parking lot at the graduation party into a mini car show? Can’t you see it now? … Rows of fun cars, mostly Volkswagens, making the neighborhood folks wonder what they’re missing. Way to go, Amy! Congratulations, Jeshua!
The best part of this story is that as Volkswagen folks you are welcome to join the party. No RSVP necessary. Just show up with your Volkswagen and support the next generation of car enthusiasts. Details below.
